The MAYA Farm located in Alto Jaramillo between 1500 and 1600 meters above sea level, is surrounded by different timber trees, fruit trees, flowers and wild strawberry bushes, which shelter the Geisha plantation. Our farm was acquired in 1988, by our parents Don Abelardo y Doña Celvy; today Mario and Margoth are in charge of the development this coffee farm, being the second generation to cultivate said farm, we decided in 2015 to start renovating the almost 30-year-old coffee plantation and we started a new coffee seedbed of Geisha. Our focus is to continue developing this farm, with all its Geisha coffee batches, and bring it to optimum yield and rate quality, maintaining the coffee legacy with a view to better quality in micro batches. Within our management of the crop we highlight the NO use of Herbicides or chemical pesticide as an insecticide that harms our bees or pollinating insects giving it an eco-friendly management because we believe in an agriculture regenerative and in harmony with the environment.
